Monarchy in the form of the “third kingdom-state” means that the monarchist institution headed by a sovereign is a guarantee for protecting and upholding the principle that declares the constitution as the “supreme law” giving and substantiating legitimacy.
The constitutional symbolism of the king is a token of constitutional sovereignty and a lever of strict implementation preventing any political or military group from attempting to establish its own monopoly of power.
To have a king fulfilling his constitutional duties is to have the monarchist institution as part of the decision-making centres in the kingdom-state.

The Iraqi National Coalition (INC) offers a useful overview of the principles of their group and a historical account of Saddam’s rule which enumerates the reasons that this group has been seeking a government based on democratic ideals.
In March 2000 a number of Iraqis and exiled Iraqis formed the INC to act as an umbrella group for the fifteen opposition groups in hope of providing a united front to bring their case to Britain, Europe, and the United States.
The Iraqi National Coalition, and in fact the Iraqi people in general, would welcome such American initiative, and would urge the USA to provide essential political, logistical, financial and indeed, military support, to assist the Iraqi people to overthrow Saddam’s regime and to establish the democratic alternative.
