My Iridescent is starting to go blind as they tend to, and the baby Bala Shark helps him all around the tank like a blind guide fish.

If my Iridescent grows larger than 2 feet I can put him in my 500 gallon pond during the summer where he will enjoy the company of my gold fish and koi.

The shark, which is about 2" in length, is in a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 zebra Danios (I'm not positive about the name, but they are zebra fish), 1 cat fish, 2 Gouramis, 1 painted glass fish, 2 Neon Orange Mickey Mouse Platies, 2 tetras (whose type of tetra is unknown).
I guess, the sunken food was ate by the guppies and swordtail starving the shark to death.
It was eating properly until the other shark died and now, it is swimming slowly at the bottom of the tank and hasn't eaten anything for the past two days.

You should also take into consideration anything that could be stressing your Sharks like overcrowding, other fish (bullying), too small a tank, and anything else you might suspect to be stressing them.
Remember to always treat the replacement water with a proper water conditioner and insure it is equal in temperature to that of your tank everytime.

Your plecos will probably be ok for a while in it as will your ID shark but you might look into returning him before he reaches a massive size that no one will be able to take off your hands.
They are extremely active (have been known to kill themselves by ramming into the sides of tanks) and need to be in groups.
It will be much easier to find a LFS that will take a 2" iridescent shark than a 2' iridescent shark.
