Davao City, is one of the largest cities in the world in terms of land area, occupying more than 2,500 square kilometers.

From Legazpi, which is 55 minutes from Manila, Iriga is still an other 45-minute ride.

Iriga City is actually along long the national highway between Naga and Legazpi and rests at the foot of Mount Iriga (formerly Mt. Asog) lies the rural city of Iriga.
The word "iriga" is a deviation of the original I-raga which means "where there is land" as it was higher than the marshes near Nabua on the Bicol river from which the inhabitants came.
Of course, Iriga is complete with other essentials like a post office, banks like PNB and Metrobank, the Lourdes Hospital, the City Hall, Police Station, public market, and schools like the University of North Eastern Philippines and University of St. Antonio.
