The IAA received reports of a faulty fire indicator on board a Ryanair Boeing 737 which emitted reports of a fire on board the plane on two successive days in early May. In another incident in April, a mechanic, working on a Ryanair aeroplane, lost his arm after allegedly working for 14 hours.
