		The Irkens are seen on the Nicktoon show Invader Zim, where the title character is an unsuccessful and psychologically unstable Irken invader, a prestigious elite military class.
		Irkens apparently have female and male sexes, although it is unknown if they are able to reproduce on their own (In a flashback sequence, Zim recalls that at his birth he was decanted from a fetus jar by a robot arm).
		The Irken Empire is a height-based social hierarchy, with the leaders being the tallest of the current generation.

	Irken Ponderings
		First off, to view Irkens in a context mere humans can understand, I liken their primitive society to a wolf pack (though I suppose a hive of bees could also work, but wolves are more fun).
		Irken facial expressions seem to be along the same lines as human facial expressions.
		For instance, I think that Irkens must at least initially be capable of love for weren't Zim's first words, "I love you cold unfeeling robot arm." Through distancing and training, though, tis possible that the Irkens have tried to eradicate as much of the emotions in themselves as possible.
