The name Irminones comes from Tacitus ’s Germania (98 CE) who categorized them as of the tribes of Mannus.
In Nennius the name Mannus and his three sons appear in form the ancestor of the Irminones appearing Armenon.
His sons here are Gothus Valagothus/Balagothus Burgundus and Longobardus from whence come the Goths Valagoths/Balagoths Cibidi Burgundians and Lombards.

The Merovingian and Migration period backwards into Roman times should give us many answers and confirmations that will be our base for future expeditions further back in time.
In 2007 we plan to search for Kurgan and Indo-European DNA Markers, through searches for Scythians, eastern Greeks, the Alans of the Sarmatians, Thracians with the Getae (Dacians), Irminones, Illyrian peoples and perhaps even the Hittites.
Our main search area will be Eastern Europe, Central Asia and specific areas in Europe.
