  Isabey Mosque Selcuk / Ephesus - Turkey
This mosque, located on the slope containing Ayasoluk Castle and the Church of St. John, attracts the visitors to the latter structure with its beauty.
The Mosque was built by the architect Aliye son of Þamlý in 1375 on orders by Ýsa Bey, son of Mehmet, leader of the Aydýnoðullarý.
This is one of the first examples of a mosque containing two congregation places, and as such it represents an important example of the transition from Seljuk to Ottoman art.

 Isabey Mosque
Isa Bey, a member of ruling family in the district of Aydin, commissioned the architect Ali to build this mosque in 1375 A.D. Some architectural elements from the Temple of Artemis, in particular the columns were reused in its construction.
Measuring 51 (153 feet) by 57 (171 feet) meters, it is the earliest representative of a mosque with a colonnaded courtyard in Anatolia.
In addition to this mosque, Selcuk also houses four small mosques which are currently in use, and ruins or restored versions of other smaller mosques and kümbets (large tombs with domed or conical roofs).
