		After over an hour of public testimony from supporters of TWS located in Athens Township, the Isanti County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to approve an ordinance amendment regulating exotic animals and exotic animal sanctuaries in Isanti County.
		It has been an Isanti city ordinance for some time that if a street reconstruction takes place on a street that doesn't have sidewalks, they are put in.

	Update: Highway 47 construction in Isanti County
		CLOUD, Minn. - The final phase of a highway improvement and safety project on Highway 47 between Anoka County Highway 28 and Isanti County Highway 40 in Bradford is underway, reports the St. Cloud office of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT).
		In late July, crews reopened approximately a three-mile stretch of Highway 47, between Isanti County Highway 1 and Isanti County Highway 40, which had been detoured for reconstruction.
		During the remainder of the project, Highway 47 traffic will be detoured via Anoka County Road 28 to Isanti County Road 7 to Isanti County Road 40 into Bradford.

	Highway 47 construction scheduled to resume in Isanti County
		CLOUD, Minn. - Work on remaining 10-mile segment of Highway 47 between St. Francis in Anoka County and Isanti County Road 1 is scheduled to begin in early May after spring road restrictions are lifted, reports the St. Cloud office of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
		Beginning on Monday, May 3, Highway 47 traffic will be detoured via Anoka County Road 28 to Isanti County Road 7 to Isanti County Road 39 to Highway 47 as crews resume the Highway 47 improvement project that began in 2003.
		Once the work in Bradford is completed, which is being done in the first phase of construction, traffic will be detoured via Anoka County Road 28 to Isanti County Road 7 to Isanti County Road 40 into Bradford.
