		The Isar is the third largest river in Bavaria, Germany.
		The source is located in Austria not far from the German border in the Karwendel (a part of the Alps), near the town Scharnitz.
		Much of the Isar's water is drained away from it at Oberföhring (just where the river Isar is leaving Munich) by way of the Mittlere Isar Kanal, a canal that directs the water of the Isar to the artificial lake Speichersee where another hydroelectric power plant generates electricity.

		The 13th Annual International Symposium on Audit Research (ISAR 2007) was hosted by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University [SJTU] on 22 and 23 June, 2007.
		The International Symposium on Audit Research (ISAR) was formed in 1995 from a merger of two previous audit research symposia: the USC Audit Judgment Symposium and the Maastricht Audit Research Symposium.

	ISAR - AATSR validation
		The result of these efforts is the Infra-red SST Autonomous Radiometer (ISAR) which can be deployed on ships of opportunity unattended for periods of up to six months with a SST measurement accuracy of ± 0.1K.
