		In -94 Isengard recorded one track for a compilation album, the track was The losing of a lost paradise.
		The song The tale of the dying mermaid was recorded in GUJA studio at April -97.
		Isengard´s first attempt to do a video came when The tale of the dying mermaid was released, but even if the result was not satisfying the guys in Isengard had a very good time.

		Isengard’s Crownless Majesty isn’t the worst power metal album I’ve heard but it’s still decidedly third-rate or worse.
		The band plough on in an unoriginal style with little fire to set them apart from the glut of power metal we have today.
		The sound-track type track "Legends", with sounds of battle over an orchestral score, is pretty cool and this band should write this type of music only(ditching the singer of course) as they seem firmly entrenched in being a lower tier power metal group.

		Ugluk, the leader of the Uruk-hai of Isengard, used the name Snaga to address one of his scouts who spotted a Rider of Rohan in the distance but let him go.
		Ugluk's band was joined by an Orc of Mordor named Grishnakh, who argued with Ugluk that the Hobbits should be taken to Mordor, but Ugluk overruled him.

		When the band of orcs was attacked by the Riders of Rohan, Merry and Pippin managed to escape and sneak off into the hardly inviting Fangorn Forest.
		Only with these armies could Isengard be taken, and the assault on the Hornburg to the south be thwarted.
		Merry and Pippin stayed at Isengard, and when the victorious Rohirrim rode north to see the defeated Saruman, the hobbits met up again with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, who had before followed the trail of the captured hobbits for days, and Gandalf the White.

		My introduction to this band was their demo, which I found to be a rather humorous affair at the time, with a rice-paper thin guitar tone and silly screeching pipes and vocals.
		In many ways, though I'm sure the band would disagree with me, I think the lack of publicity this will receive is a shame, since the album is so damn captivating that I can't see how anyone could fail to be moved upon hearing it.
		There are also a couple of very well done ambient piecs aside from the intro; one being short and focussing on clean guitar, the other being a majestic and ghostly album closer that brings one down from the fist-pumping high this music generates.

		To tell about the band briefly – it’s a 5 person band from Canada playing some oldschool fl metal mixed with epic / Viking metal melodies and atmospheres.
		Black Lotus seems to be influenced by such bands as Thyrfing, Enslaved, Bathory and Woods of Ypres.
		This is probably one of the best underground bands which managed to create such professional and well organized Viking metal.

		Unlike many other bands, Isengard does not achieve its folk music qualities by cramming in flutes or acoustic guitars, but by allowing beautiful melodies to float over austere guitar riffs that occasionally echo it.

		Vinterskugge is the first one, but actually it is divided into three parts, so we are not sure whether each part is/was availible as a stand alone demo or cd.
		This one is really cult, as it reflects the reason why almost all fl metal bands exist.
