Second Coming - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mainstream view: The mainstream Islamic view of the second coming maintains that Jesus was lifted up to heaven by God, where he is waiting to descend during the “last days” when corruption and perversity are rife on earth.
The view of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is based on an allegorical interpretation of the references to Jesus’s second coming in Islamic literature.
Followers of the Bahá'í Faith believe that the second coming of Jesus, as well as the prophecies of the 5th Buddha and many other religious prophecies of a second coming, were fulfilled in Bahá'u'lláh.

 Second Coming Information
Mainstream view: The mainstream Islamic view of the second coming maintains that Jesus was nailed to the cross but lifted up to heaven by God before he died, where he is waiting to decend during the “last days” when corruption and perversity are rife on earth.
The view of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is based on an allegorical interpretation of the references to Jesus’s second coming in Islamic literature.
They believe that Jesus died a natural death and the "second coming" referred to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and his efforts to counter the threats to Islam from other religious groups.

Nalliah and Scot, a native of Pakistan, were reportedly lecturing on the differences between Christianity and Islam, and quoted information about Islam directly from the Koran and other recognized Islamic sources.
The Islamic Council started the court case saying that the Christian ministry Catch the Fire of pastors Nalliah and Scot "vilified Muslims" at a seminar on jihad on March 9, 2002, a violation of Victoria's "Racial and Religious Toleration Act."
Nalliah said he and many other Christians had objected strongly to plans to introduce the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act, which can impose fines of $3,380 on individuals and $16,900 on groups found to have vilified others on the grounds of religion or ethnicity.

The Islamic Doctrine of Substitutionary Atonement
It may come as a surprise to some of our readers to find that the Quran and the Islamic traditions confirm the idea that Allah ransoms sinners by punishing others for their misdeeds.
Moreover: How much sense does it make that Allah would not accept a voluntary substitutionary death (of Jesus) but force a substitutionary death on someone else?
This is a form of substitutionary atonement and vicarious atonement, with the difference being that instead of punishing one person Allah punishes countless numbers of Jews and Christians in the place of Muslims!!!

 Facts on the Ground
The Ahmedis shunned jihad (holy war) as a method of resistance against non-Muslims and taught that Jesus had escaped death on the cross and lived to the age of 120 before dying and being buried in Srinagar.
Also in August, HAMAS leader, Sheikh Ahmed Yasin condemned the PNA for giving the go-ahead to setting up a casino in Jericho, citing Islamic sharia law, sunna ("tradition") and hadith ("sayings" of Prophet Muhammad, second highest authority in Islam superseded only by the Qur'an) against gambling and liquor.
On November 17, 1997, fifty eight foreign tourists were massacred by a band of six militants claiming to be members of the Jamaat al-Islamiyya ("The Islamic Group") as well as Jihad Talaat al-Fath ("Holy War of the Vanguard of the Conquest"), a combination of Talaa al-Fath and its parent group, Jihad.

PRESERVATION OF THE REVELATIONS RECEIVED BY THE PROPHETS MUHAMMAD AND JESUS
In http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Text/Mss (Kufi script) (accessed on June 4, 2002) many Muslim and non-Muslim scholars have been quoted in support of the view that Kufi script existed much before the foundation of the city of Kufah.
Considering that the Prophet died in 10H and that the actual writing of the manuscript generally predates its presentation to a library or mosque, all three came to be written within hundred years of his death.
In Kufic script, it has inscribed on it the words: "al Hasan ibn 'Ali ibn Abi Talib" with the date 41 H. On the first folio is a dedication (waqfnameh) by Shah 'Abbas Safawi and bearing the signature of al-Shaykh al-Bahai who attributes it to al-Imam al-Hasan.
