Prophet Ibrahim Sacrifices Son Ismail - Eid al Adha Eid Mubarak!
"Ibrahim was of the self-same faith (as Noah) and came to his Lord with a pure heart.
If one sees the esoteric view of this series of events, it is readily evident that when Ibrahim was willing to fulfil Allah's command of giving up his dear son, Allah did not really need or want his son as Ismail had been granted to him in old age 11:69-71, - it was a test.
Prophet Ibrahim is the Father of Monotheistic Faiths (Jewish, Christian and Islamic) and was named Khalil'ullah - Friend of Allah for his staunch faith in the Unseen God.

 Middle Eastern Epic
[Note: Atrahasis III is the source of the Flood story told by Utnapishtim in Gilgamesh XI and will be considered partly from the point of view of literary history.]
Also read Genesis 6-9 (Hebrew story of Noah and the Flood).
3-25, "In Defense of al-Sira." The sira, as the Arabic equivalent of epic, should be studied in the context of traditionally ambivalent attitudes toward narrative poetry in Islamic tradition.

Counterbias: Creationism, "God" and Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson
Director Sharp added, “The biblical view is that we don’t hesitate to identify who the intelligence is”: the mean-spirited, cruel, homicidal “God” of Genesis who, in a fit of rage, murdered the entire human race, except for the family of Noah who, apparently with “God’s” blessing, came to “know” (in the biblical sense) his daughters.
The reasons he offered for this murder in the name of “God” and country were that Chavez was bent on exporting “Communism and Islamic extremism across the Americas.” Aside from the fact that “communism” has historically been staunchly atheistic, isn’t Pat’s call-to-murder a glowing example of “Christian extremism”?
Creationism museum director Sharp, Pat Robertson and the other leaders of the Christian Right make clearer every day that the “biblical worldview” they claim to represent is worse than irrelevant, it’s dangerous because truth is its archenemy.
