Ismael Montes (1861 - 1933) was a Bolivian general and political figure.
But Montes was elected in 1913, and his second term was as troubled as his first had been successful.
Montes was able to finish his second term and in 1917 transferred power to (who else?) his hand-picked successor, José Gutiérrez Guerra, winner in that year's elections.
