Under his leadership, Iso built the limousine Fidia, "the fastest four seats on wheels" (Advertisement, 1967) with body by Ghia, the Grifo 7 litri (with the GM V8 7 L marine engine) and the 2 + 2 fastback Coupé Lele (1970) with body designed by Bertone, intended as the successor to the IR 300.
Iso Rivolta went bankrupt in 1974, only 1.700 Iso Gran Turismos had been built in those ten years.
His son Renzo is leading Rivolta Marine, his daughter, Marietta, is in the management of Zagato Centrostile, Milan, Italy, she is married to Andrea Zagato.

In 2002 Iso celebrated the 50th anniversary of the presentation of the Iso 200, a powerful and elegant motorbike and the 50th anniversary of the Isetta, a small two seats city car with a 200cc engine (later a 300cc) that had a great success in Germany where it was produced under license by BMW.
The Iso counted formerly 300 employees; that was a significant figure of Bresso active population.
The Rivoltas' factory definitely marked the inhabitants' daily life, governed by the hooter which drew the workers in the morning or announced the end of the day in the evening.

The story of the ISO RIVOLTA and Bizzarrini marques is not one that is familiar to enthsiasts generally.
One of the personnel in the famous "walkout" from Ferrari in 1961, he was hired by Rivolta to assist with the chassis design for the forthcoming ISO Rivolta GT, and subsequeiltly the Grifo, an offshoot of which was to become the car bearing his own name.
Piero Rivolta, together with some former ISO staff, decided to revive the Grifo name with anew car, a fuU-size styling mock-up of which was shown to the press in 1991 to considerable acclaim.

Starting with the Gran Turismo Iso Rivolta, the gran maestro and his son Piero built exactly 1,669 cars from 1961-75 in a small factory on the Via Vitt.
Rivolta borrowed the Espada's (and Miura's) famous designer, Marcello Gandini, and fired back with the Lambo's straight competitor, the esoteric 2+2 Lele, named after Piero's wife.
Painted bright Rosso Corsa a few years ago to a "driver" standard, the surface is very glossy; nonetheless there are a few imperfections, such as a ding on the hood, and a few isolated bubbles on the door bottom.

Renzo Rivolta, owner of Iso, a small car manufacturing company in Bresson, Milan was looking for an enterprising individual to test drive and make design changes to a prototype called Gordon GT that he had developed in association with British engineer John Gordon.
He advised Rivolta to scrap the original design and instead design a car from scratch but with this same engine.
In 1963 the contract with Rivolta ended and Bizzarrini went on to work for Campagnolo and ASA, another GT manufacturer for whom he developed the ASA 1000 GT.

The second two pictures appear to be of the ISO Rivolta (weird name)....
However, it was, I believe, Mr Rivolta and Mr Bizarrini who setup Iso......so that may be why the 2nd car has Rivolta on the dashboard.
You should of seen the f/n/s wing later in the day when the Swissol valeter had finished with it, man, that metallic paint shine was deep.

Iso Grifo A3C at Le Mans 1965, was chassis #B0222.
In 1966 Rivolta ended the relationship with Bizzarrini, the A3/L being secure in the Luxury GT marketplace.
Bizzarrini's Iso Grifo A3 version, called the A3/C for Corsa, was never pursued by company but developed instead by the engineer himself.

My father has one, so the similarity was immediately obvious to me. I think it was a functional Bertone styling exercise, and it didn't seem expensive at the time for what it was, or might have been.
I think the segway into the Berlinetta Speciale came from this post where a ISO Lele was mentioned.
It appears the ISO Rivolta GT was designed by Giugiaro.
