An isohume is a line of equal or constant humidity on a graph, plot, or map; an isopleth of humidity.

P4.21 A study on the intensity change of typhoon Nakri (0208) - observation and GDAPS data analysis (2006 - ...
The Aerosonde observations showed that a strong inversion layer and isohume layers exist in the lower tropospheric vertical structures over the ocean ahead of typhoon.
Isohume layers are composed of very wet (nearly saturated) below 850 hPa, and dry above 830 hPa during the rapidly weakening period of typhoon.
When the northwesterlies were present at altitude between 1.5 km and 3.5 km about 3 hours before the typhoon weakened, the trough at 850 hPa moved southward, which was related to a typhoon-trough interaction.

Isohumes connect locations in the diagram having equal humidity.
The humidity value for each isohume is labeled at the top of this thermo diagram as a mixing ratio (r).
Since we already have isohumes plotted on these diagrams, and since an isohume represents constant mixing ratio, all we need to do is to move the X (representing the humidity of the parcel) up along, or parallel to, the thin dotted isohumes.

 ESCI 241 – Meteorology
Pseudo-adiabats (moist-adiabats) are curved lines that are nearly vertical at the bottom of the chart, and bend so that they become nearly parallel to the adiabats at lower pressures.
The LCL is defined as the level at which an air parcel at the surface, if lifted dry adiabatically, would reach saturation.
To find the LCL, begin with the surface temperature, and follow the adiabat through the surface temperature upward to where it would cross the isohume that runs through the surface dew-point temperature.

Isotherms: to the left inclined and straight lines as places of constant temperature, often marked in degrees Celsius.
Isohumes: more than the isotherms to the left (or even to the right) inclined and straight lines as places of constant absolute air humidity, often marked in g water per kg of air, whereby the relative air humidity is also constant, i.e.
Dry adiabat curves: to the right inclined curves which describe the condition of air bubbles which rise or descend without mixing themselves with the ambient air, whereby their relative humidity remains always smaller than 100%.

This paramater, mixing ratio, is used extensively in theoretical studies of pre-convective drylines.
The 9 g/kg isohume (line of equal mixing ratio) or the 55' F isodrosotherm (line of equal dewpoint) is the recommended first estimate of the dryline because this has been found to be the minimal limits for tornadic thunderstorm development.
Because of the differen't parameters used to analyze a dryline, they have often been incorrectly depicted.
