 | | The Institute for Sustainable Power, Inc. (ISP) is an international non-profit organization created in 1996 with the goals of improving the quality of renewable and sustainable energy projects, and improving the quality of workforce development for sustainable, local jobs. |
 | | ISP provides a quality infrastructure framework for the accreditation of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and distributed generation training programs; the certification of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and distributed generation trainers; and the registration of program evaluators and auditors. |
 | | The ISP umbrella organization has the responsibility for coordinating the develoment of international workforce content and delivery standards for training and trainers, accrediting training programs and certifying trainers against objective standards in all regions, and it manages the auditors who ensure the quality of the activities at the national level. |
