The new ship would be added leverage in Israel's war against terrorism, and enable the navy to attack terrorism at its source.
But sources in the Israeli Navy said Ya'ari is willing to shelve the Saar-5-II project and to divert a budget of up to $1 billion towards the futuristic attack vessel, the website reported.
