As the legislative branch of the Israeli government, the Knesset enacts laws, supervises the work of the government, and has the power to vote to remove the President of the State and the State Comptroller from office, or to dissolve itself by calling for an early election.
The Monitor Committee of Israeli Arabs: an Arab group, claiming to represent the interests of the Arab minority in Israel, tend to be seperatists and hence perceived as hostile by the Jewish majority and have little influence in politics.
The Ministry of Defense is responsible for the administration of the disputed territories.

It does not deal with the rise of religion as a major force in Israeli society, culture, and politics; the new wave of immigration from the former Soviet Union; the Ethiopian immigration; and foreign workers, which as yet are not salient topics in Israeli film.
