		Unlike in the north of the country, the southern highways are in pretty good condition, the catch is that we have to pay for them in the form of tolls.

		The next day we decided it may be safer just to get a taxi and drove to the Lagao de concepcao - basically a massive lagoon in the middle of the island.
		Hope you didn't need to spend to much at the laundrette after the chopper ride - that really would be a double whammy!.

		Really good spot to surf, longboarders, early in the morning is the best, getting the tide filling up, barrels, so beautiful beach, lots of fun on this spot, respect for locals, and have a really good time.
		The surf is great and the view of the moutain and the lagoon behind the beach makes it a wonderful wallpaper.
