		Giuseppe Garibaldi (July 4, 1807 – June 2, 1882) was an Italian patriot and soldier of the Risorgimento.
		Garibaldi, one the tallest and most impressive peaks part of the Garibaldi Belt of volcanic mountains located north of Vancouver, Canada, is also named after him, and there is a school in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada named Garibaldi Secondary School in his honor.
