Dateline: KUMAMOTO, Japan, July 18 Three regional airlines in Okinawa Prefecture and Japan's southernmost main island of Kyushu are in talks on supplying each other with parts and jointly training pilots, airline officials said Thursday.
The tie-up would be the first of its kind among regional airlines in Japan, they said.
The three are Amakusa Airlines, based in Itsuwa, Kumamoto Prefecture, Ryukyu Air Commuter of Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, and Oriental Air Bridge of Omura, Nagasaki Prefecture.
