Roman timeline from 49BC to 28BC
Iulius Caesar led a lightning campaign against Pharnaces, king of the Bosporus, in Pontus in Asia Minor and defeated him at Zela in August.
Iulius Caesar campaigned against Pompey's supporters in Africa and in April defeated Metellus Scipio, Juba I, King of Numidia, and remaining forces of Pompey (survivors from Pharsalus) at Thapsus, south of ancient Carthage.
Iulius Caesar reformed the Roman Calendar with 30 days in April, June, September and November and 28/29 days for February to create the Julian calendar; which was in use through 1582 and after, until the Gregorian calendar was adopted.

Julius Caesar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This Second Triumvirate deified Caesar as Divus Iulius and—seeing that Caesar's clemency had resulted in his murder—brought back the horror of proscription, abandoned since Sulla, and proscribed its enemies in large numbers in order to seize even more funds for the second civil war against Brutus and Cassius, whom Antony and Octavian defeated at Philippi.
In 42 BC, Caesar was formally deified as "the Divine Julius" (Divus Iulius), and Caesar Augustus henceforth became Divi filius ("Son of a God").
Caesar was considered during his lifetime to be one of the finest orators and authors of prose in Rome—even Cicero spoke highly of Caesar's rhetoric and style.

 Jesus was Caesar - Re-Orientation
Divus Iulius was not a secondary god, but was made equivalent to the highest God, Jupiter, and became the God of the whole Roman Empire.

July in Roman Old Style calendar.
When the Roman calendar was revised by adding January and February to the beginning of the year, Quintilis became the seventh month; however, this was still the name of the month even though it was no longer in numerical order.
Quintilis was renamed Iulius (Julius) and later July, in 44 B.C. in honor of Gaius Julius Caesar (c.
The changing of Quintilis to Julius may be considered a proper tribute to Julius Caesar because after several long years of civil strife, he was credited with making many administrative reforms at Rome, including the revision of the inaccurate ancient calendar.

Julian calendar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first month of the year continued to be Ianuarius, as it had been since 153 BC.
The Romans later renamed months after Julius Caesar and Augustus, renaming Quintilis (originally, "the Fifth month", with March = month 1) as Iulius (July) in 44 BC and Sextilis ("Sixth month") as Augustus (August) in 8 BC.
giving us the irregular month lengths which we still use today, so that the length of Augustus would not be shorter than (and therefore inferior to) the length of Iulius.

A few generations later Caesar's story was still being told, the God Iulius still being worshipped, especially in the Eastern colonies, where many of his veterans had settled after the Civil War.
Strange enough, although Carotta finally presents to us the historical Jesus in overwhelming grandezza, orthodox scientists and believers hate (and fear) this work, which has been available in other languages since 1999, because it is not a theory at all, but a huge cluster of historical, archeological, numismatic, cultural, theological and linguistic facts and accords.
The cult of Divus Iulius permeated the whole empire especially the east where many of his veterans had been settled.

There is an even earlier inscription from Volubilis which mentions the Baquates, but this is simply a dedication in honour of the emperor Antoninus Pius by a chief of the tribe (princeps gentis), Aelius Tuccuda, in 140-141, and does not form part of the altar series.

This is more than can be said for most political leaders in Caesar's time, or since.

Suffice it to say that Caesar as general and statesman did more than anyone else could have attempted, in a period of insane internal strife and civil commotion, that succeeding in what he did with cleverness coupled with a sense of political propriety, he overcame great odd and the forces of his formidable enemy Pompeius.
