Bamford is a village in the Derbyshire Peak District, England, lying on the River Derwent, served by Bamford railway station on the Hope Valley Line.
The village, which lies under the Bamford Edge cliffs, is the location of the water treatment works covering the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden Reservoirs.
Bamford also has a large primary school which has been award the status of a beacon school.
