JALways is an airline subsidiary of Japan Airlines.
JALways operates independently of JAL, but shares livery and interline benefits: this is primarily to avoid the higher labor costs of JAL's Japanese crews and maintenance.
The JALways fleet consists of 2 Boeing 747-300 (JA8186, JA8187) and 1 Boeing 747-200 (JA8150) (at March 2006).

Japan Airlines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Among other distinctions, JAL has the largest fleet of Boeing 747s in the world (approximately 76, at March 2005), and along with Malaysia Airlines are the only Asian airlines that fly to Latin America, Japan Airlines to Mexico City and São Paulo and Malaysia Airlines to Buenos Aires.
The fault was compounded by the failure of the captain to report the event, for which the airline was reprimanded by the ministry of land, infrastructure and transport (ref: Flight International, July 2005).
JAL is also known for its numerous liveries featuring Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea, as it is the official airline of the Tokyo Disney Resort.

For the main meal, there was a selection of two dishes, but by the time the trolley arrived, my choice had run out, and I was left with a seriously unimpressive pasta dish.
Nevertheless, compared to many other airlines, JALways and JAL are outstanding and safe airlines, which provide superior economy class service at very competitive prices.
Perhaps, this is due to the fact that JALWAYS mainly operates flights between Japan and Oceania, Guam, Saipan and FAs include non- Japanese FAs from assortment of Asian countries.
