	Jewish Community Relations Council - About JCRC
		JCRC seeks to establish the consensus of the local organized Jewish community on public issues and to present this consensual position to the general community, the media and public officials.
		JCRC is one of 120 Jewish Community Relations Councils in the country which in turn are part of a national umbrella organization, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs.
		JCRC is also represented in Sacramento by the Jewish Public Affairs Committee (JPAC), which is the voice in our state capitol for the California organized Jewish community.

		The Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC) was founded in 1991 to serve as a national AIDS research center, and was born as a collaboration between Makerere University's School of Medicine and Uganda's Ministries of Health and Defense.
		In recent months JCRC, with USAID support, has launched six new treatment sites across the country, starting 1200 new clients on antiretroviral therapy (to date) and identifying 100 orphans and eligible children to begin treatment with free drugs by the end of April 2004.
		JCRC was incorporated in the Republic of Uganda on 8th February 1991 under the Companies Act (cap 85) as a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital.

	Accounting for the Missing
		The JCRC mission was solely to assist the Secretaries of the Armed Services to resolve the fate of those servicemen still missing and unaccounted for as a result of the hostilities throughout Indochina.
		Though the JCRC was activated in Vietnam, because of the US interpretation of the restrictions imposed by the Paris Accords on the number of US military personnel who could be left in Vietnam, the unit was immediately moved to Nakhon Phanom Air Base in northeast Thailand.

	Cuyahoga County Bar Association - News
		JCRC's goal is to educate the voters of Cuyahoga County about qualified judicial candidates and eliminate the judicial election "guessing game" in the 2006 general elections, for which voting will begin shortly by absentee ballot, and continue through Election Day, November 7.
		Before JCRC members rate the judicial candidates, each candidate completes a detailed questionnaire and appears for an interview by members from the five bar associations in JCRC.
