		The JFA has been made aware that its weekly screenings are a violation of film copyright laws after being contacted by the distributer of "Maboroshi" which we screened on 4/20.
		Up until this point officers at the JFA had wrongly understood the legality of screening copyrighted materials on school campuses, believing that their film screenings were covered under the "fare use" clause of American copyright laws which it turns out they were not.
		As a result the JFA will be taking a hiatus in screening films at the UW while the club officers examine the requirements to screen films to "public audiences".
