The Saikyo Line connects southern Saitama Prefecture with Akabane, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Osaki.
While the Saikyo Line technically ends at Osaki Station, many trains on the Saikyo Line continue to run on the Rinkai Line from Osaki to Odaiba, before terminating at Shin-Kiba.
Note, that the Rinkai Line is not owned by JR, which means that the Japan Rail Pass and similar JR tickets are not valid on it.

You can reach it by taking the JR Sagano Line from Kyoto Station to Saga Arashiyama Station; from there, it's a 15-minute walk.
There's also a local commuter line, the Keifuku Arashiyama Line, which you can catch on Shijo Dori at either Shijo-Omiya Station or Sai Station; take it to Arashiyama (the last stop), from where it's a 2-minute walk.

We arrived in Osaka, which is very close to Kyoto; in fact, it's only about 35 minutes from Himeji, and less than 15 minutes from Kyoto.
We took the JR Kyoto line (which as the name suggests, goes all the way to Kyoto) one long stop to Osaka station.
We walked between the Hankyu rail station and the Hankyu department store (directly out the east gate of the JR station) and as soon as we came upon it I realized what HEP 5 was.
