	JAS 39 Gripen - an overview, technical data and photos
		The first JAS 39 Gripen squadron was declared fully operational with the wing F 7 in Såtenäs starting on Oct 1:st 1997, the second was in 1998.
		The JAS 39A/Bs were planned to be upgraded as follows, but as the new, smaller, organization does not need all ordered Gripens, the older ones will not be upgraded.
		JAS 39G/H would be a possible future upgrade (after 2020?) where it's still unclear exactly what could be included.

	JAS urges farmers to support praedial larceny initiative - JAMAICAOBSERVER.COM
		THE Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) says it is delighted by the announcement of cabinet approval of the $22 million contract for the printing of 100,000 receipt books for the national praedial larceny control programme.
		"This approval means that the JAS will now be able to instruct the printer to proceed with the printing of the books and now put us in a position to fight against praedial larceny," JAS president, Senator Norman Grant, said in a statement.
		He said, however, that the JAS was appealing to farmers to support the effort by registering with the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) and the JAS and to purchase the receipt books as soon as they become available.

		Ashwood, appears at a convenient moment to rescue the boys from their bad deeds and provide Malkani's plot with some depth, but the scene is forced, waylaying the story and boring the reader.
		Ashwood does conveniently lead them to Sanjay, a successful young mentor who injects some energy into the novel with his attempt to turn Jas and his crew into assets, schooling Jas to be a sophisticated gangster, get the forbidden Muslim girl and fit in at hip clubs named after the homeless.
		Even if versed in London youth slang (a glossary is provided at the back of the book), it's still tiresome to read Jas' narration, despite its element of authenticity as the soundtrack of rudeboy life.
