Jablanica is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The town is situated on the Neretva river in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity.
In 1991 there were 12,664 inhabitants of the Jablanica municipality: 9,136 Bosniaks (72.14%), 2,253 Croats (17.79%), 573 Yugoslavs (4.52%), 504 Serbs (3.98%), 198 others (1.56%).

He states that a total of 107 people - "mostly boys from 12 to 15 years of age" - were taken from their villages by the Ustase, machine gunned and stabbed and then thrown into the Jablanica River.
