	Bob Crompton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Born in Blackburn, Crompton spent his entire career at full-back for Blackburn Rovers, playing 528 games between (1896 and 1920).
		Crompton then returned as manager in the late thirties to guide them to the Second division Championship.
		Crompton died in 1941, still in charge of his hometown club to end a fifty year association with his beloved Rovers.
