Jack Hoban is a former active duty US Marine Corps Captain and "subject matter expert" for the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).
Hoban's approach to teaching martial arts in context of the universal human values is unique in the United States.
Previously, Hoban was co-founder, with Gene McCormick, of Jersey Blue (with Bernard Purdie on drums).

i can either go to a normal dojo which is closer to me or jack hoban's dojo.
i have heard a lot about jack hoban and is apparantly pretty high in the martial arts world, however he is an hour away.
Jack is one of the very top Bujinkan instructors in the US, and you are unbelievably fortunate to have him only an hour away from you.

I am currently browsing the DVD listings on training DVDs and stumbled upon the "The Art of The Ninja series by Jack Hoban".
Well, if your looking for help on basics, Jack Hobans series will work well for you.
I dont think Jack Hobans has his series on DvD and plus I wouldnt say its the best companion video to go with training in a dojo on a daily basis.
