Leigh asked the doctor this morning what it was going to take to get out of there (not that she is in a rush) and he said Paul just needs to start eating and drinking.
Leigh said he only got sick once (about 5 minutes after she had told the doctor that he had not thrown up today.) The bone marrow transplant is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.
Leigh and Paul were on their way to the room from the playroom when they ran into the surgeon and asked him about the epidural line which seemed to come detached.

They let us take her for a walk with Jack and it was love at first sight for both of them.
Jack NEVER left her side the whole time, he went when she did and ate when she did.

Secondly, Leigh, Jack and Paul were staying at Miss Fran's last night, and Leigh called me very late to let me know that Paul had spiked a fever, a very high one, and that she had been advised to take him in to the hospital when she called.
Jack has tagged along the last two days, and I think that has been good for both of them, except they are driving Leigh crazy at times with incessant "why?" and frequent arguments about who goes first, who won, etc. Jack is now without his two front teeth; the second one came out this morning.
Jack is doing well as are Leigh and I. This winter is flashing by, and God is teaching us a lot about a daily walk in faith in His goodness and care.

 Jack Leigh: Nov. 8, 1948-May 19, 2004
Southern photographer Jack Leigh, perhaps best known for his photograph of the "Bird Girl"; statue on the cover of the novel "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", died of cancer May 19, last month, in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia.
Leigh at least sometimes worked in 35mm or medium format, judging from the slight grain apparent on the enlargements (which appeared to be up to 16x20 in size).
Leigh's effort to arrange a cooperative working arrangement with Warner Brothers when they decided to make a movie of "Midnight..." was rejected.

 In Memoriam: Jack Leigh, 55
Photographer Jack Leigh, best known for the moody cover photo of the bestseller Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, died May 19 after a seven-month battle with colon cancer.
Leigh sued for copyright infringement, and after a difficult fight, finally collected an undisclosed settlement from the movie studio.
Leigh is survived by three daughters and his companion, Susan Patrice.
