  JACK D. MORRIS v. ANTHONY J. PRINCIPI,
Morris argues that, because his ยง 7111 argument is that the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims should have remanded his case to the Board for consideration of the newly enacted statute, it involves a challenge to the court's exercise of its jurisdiction.
Morris argues that the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims should have vacated the 1996 Board Decision and remanded the case to the Board in view of the enactment of 38 U.S.C. That statute authorizes CUE challenges to Board decisions, which previously were unavailable.
Morris, because the 1996 Board Decision was based on law that was changed while his appeal was pending, it was an abuse of discretion for the court to fail to vacate the 1996 Board Decision and to fail to order a remand for reconsideration under current law.

Morris was the best pitcher on that team, and he benefited from having for his teammates such good hitters at up-the-middle positions.
Morris had two of his best-supported seasons in 1991 and 1992, the years in which he joined two different teams as a free agent and helped them win championships, going 39-18 over the two seasons despite adjusted ERAs of 124 and 102, respectively.
Morris has a couple of seasons that look like they could be examples of "pitching to the score," but the evidence is weak, and if you have enough pitcher-seasons, you're bound to have some that fit whatever pattern you're looking for.

Jack Wright, the author of these letters is an American boy of eighteen years, born in New York City.

Had Jack Wright lived to be an "Ace of Aces" in the mere destruction of human life he could not have made a greater contribution to the cause to which he had unselfishly devoted himself.

Morris' performance in game 7 of the 1991 World Series is what cinched it for me. I really don't have an opinion on John, Kaat, or Blyleven, because I didn't see them in pitch their primes, only at the tail ends of their careers.
