Jackson is on probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery charges in September 2005 for his role in a 2004 brawl between Pacers players and fans during a game against the Detroit Pistons.
Jackson, 28, appeared in a Marion County, Ind., court on Thursday for arraignment on a felony charge of criminal recklessness and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct as a result of the incident at the Indianapolis strip club.
Jackson originally told police he fired the gun in self-defense, but Marion County prosecutor Carl Brizzi said Jackson retrieved the gun from his car and fired it before he was struck and injured by another car.

The Central road was one of three railroads created by the legislature of Michigan for the purpose of improving travel and transportation of goods throughout the southern half of the lower peninsula.
The north end of the Michigan Airline, between Jackson and Pontiac was built to Jackson in1883 by the Grand Trunk Western.
The final road in Jackson which bears no more than a footnote was the Jackson and Northern, which was a 24" narrow gauge industrial road that went north from the area of North Street, parallel to and crossing the JLandS at M.A.L. Junction and traveling for a few miles northeast.

Reversing a position held since 1997, the Michigan Supreme Court has ruled that the "background circumstances" test for determining the sufficiency of a claim of reverse employment discrimination does not comport with the state's fair employment practices law.
In the case, a white police officer who ranked second on a sergeant's examination sued the City of Battle Creek because he was not promoted, while a fl officer who ranked only fifth on the exam was promoted.
Those claims will be more likely to withstand the challenge of a defendant's motion for summary disposition, meaning more cases will reach the trial stage, where the costs of a resolution, either through a verdict or settlement, are likely to be greater.

The Michigan Theatre, the last and largest theatre built in downtown Jackson, opened April 30, 1930.
Early on, the interior was partially repainted in a darker color scheme, carpet was changed, the marquee was changed to a modern, streamlined style, and a candy counter was added.
