 | | VINCENT B., the present Postmaster of Melrose, was born in the town of Hardwick, Worcester County, Massachusetts, October 5, 1821, the son of Vincent C. Newland, who was born in Bristol County, Massachusetts, August 26, 1798. |
 | | In 1832 he went to Warren County, Pennsylvania in 1833 to Erie County, same State in 1835 to Holmes County, Ohio, and in 1852 he returned to Worcester County, where he remained until 1855, in which year he came to Jackson County, Wisconsin, locating in the town of Melrose, where he died April 17, 1886. |
