The vision of Jackson Park Ministries is to see the families, children and all individuals of Jackson Park, Charlotte and surrounding communities come to know Christ as their Savior and Lord; becoming productive citizens in the community and serving others as a disciple of Christ.
Many of you have been supportive of the Jackson Park Ministry and we appreciate your heart for missions.
These apartments will be used to house homeless families for a period of time which will provide an environment in which they can begin to put their lives back together.

Jackson, the park's longest-serving seasonal ranger, was ordered by the Park Service in 2001 not to speak to the press after criticizing hunting guides who he claimed illegally lure elk from the park by placing salt licks just outside Yellowstone boundaries.
Park officials told Jackson in 2001 to return home to Promise City, Iowa, weeks ahead of schedule and said he wouldn't have a job in 2002.
Jackson said his personnel files are impeccable and that he's caught more poachers since the 1970s than the Park Service had in the 40 years prior to that.

This facility was to include a bus terminal on the southwest corner of East 63rd and Stony Island, a new interlocking on the "L" west of the station and a new island platform and "modern" steel and glass station facility at track-level.

Jackson's military feats had elevated him to near mythical proportions, in both North and South, when in the midst of one of his most brilliant maneuvers, he was mistakenly shot by his own men on the night of May 2, 1863 at the The Battle of Chancellorsville.
While Jackson posed at his headquarters eight miles north of Guinea Station, Mary Anna recalled that, "he sat in the hall of the house where a strong wind blew in his face causing him to frown." The men who served under Jackson preferred this picture of their general to all others, but Mrs.
Jackson observed, "I see from the number of physicians that you think my condition dangerous, but I thank God, if it is His will, that I am ready to go." On Sunday, May 10, 1863, the doctors lost all hope of Jackson's recovery, and the General was notified of his condition.
