 | | It is bounded on the north by Walnut Grove township, on the east by Mound, on the south by Scotland, and on the west by Emmet. |
 | | Thomas A. Brooking came to Macomb township in the fall of 1834, where he spent the winter, and in the spring of 1835, built a double cabin on section 30, where the cemetery now is. He afterward removed to section 7, where he accumulated a large amount of land, some 600 acres in all. |
