  Froese, Peter J. (1913-1997)
Peter J. Froese, minister and farmer, was born 17 January 1913 in Kondratyevka, Borissovo Colony, Russia to Anna (Penner) and Johann Jacob Froese.
In 1946 the Froese family moved to a 20-acre farm in Abbotsford.
From 1967 to 1975 P. Froese became leading minister of Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Manitoba where he was ordained as elder on 17 November 1968 by Elder Jacob F. Pauls.

Jacob Froese (born November 28, 1917, died June 14, 2003) a politician in Manitoba, Canada.
Froese was elected to the Manitoba legislature for the riding of Rhineland in a November 1959 by-election, defeating a Progressive Conservative candidate by 91 votes.
Froese was defeated by Progressive Conservative candidate Arnold Brown in the 1973 election, and finished a poor fourth in a bid for re-election four years later.

Jacob M. Froese, farmer, community leader and long-time memberof the Manitoba Legislative Assembly, died on June 14 at the age of 85.
Froese made headlines in 1961 when he pitched a tent in the rotunda of the legislature after being denied an office as a lone Social Credit MLA.
Froese’s obituary stated, “It was his faith that sustained him and caused him to respond...to constant demands and requests for assistance from people in all areas.

These services alternated between the homes of the Jacob Priebes, in the north and the Peter P. Penners, in the south.
Jacob J. Froese donated one acre of land, NW1/4 – 35 – 13 – 7 – W3rd., to be used as the cemetery, which the church was to control completely.
In 1914, before the Froese family left, a fence was put around this property.

This compilation consists of the genealogy and family history of the descendants of Jacob H. Epp (1850–1919) and this wife Katharina Boese (1853–1937).
Most of the children came to Canada with their mother in 1924 but there were exceptions such as the one married daughter that migrated to Brazil via Germany in 1930 and those that remained in the Soviet Union.
Peter Braun had three siblings that I know of – Abram Braun born in 1841 died in Russia was married to a Katharina Braun; Jacob Braun born in 1843, died also in Russia and was married to a Margaretha Wiebe; and, Maria Braun who was married to a Michael Hamm and a Johann Goertzen.
