Jaffa (Stargate) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The main function of the Jaffa is to serve their gods, the Goa'uld, as warriors and incubators for Goa'uld larvae.
Jaffa are genetically engineered by the Goa'uld for their immune system to fail when they reach puberty (which they call the age of prata), so they will die if they do not receive a symbiote.
Teal'c (portrayed by Christopher Judge), a Jaffa who chooses to join the SG-1 team and fight for freedom, starts out as a lone traitor, but gradually and with the aid of his former Jaffa mentor, Bra'tac, Teal'c is able to rally an increasing number of other Jaffa to his cause of freedom.

Rya'c - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rya'c is a character from the fictional universe of Stargate SG-1, played by Neil Denis.
He was very angry at his father after Drey'auc died, and Teal'c allowed him to go on a mission to save Earth from Anubis.
He was captured when he went with Bra'tac to Erebus, a Jaffa penal colony, to recruit more allies for the Jaffa rebellion.

 Races - Jaffa
At the time of implantation (typically around 10 years of age), the Jaffa who are "honored" enough and possess a sufficient community status are granted the ceremony of the prim'tah, when the Goa'uld symbiote is implanted within a young warrior, granting him great strength and long life.
Because of their genetic manipulation by the Goa'uld, Jaffa are forced to receive a symbiote upon reaching the Age of Prata (puberty), or die from a failing immune system.
In recent years, since the Jaffa Teal'c betrayed his master Apophis and became shol'vah, many Jaffa have begun to question their beliefs that the Goa'uld are gods.

In Stargate SG-1, a television series based upon the 1994 science fiction movie Stargate, Chulak is a fictional planet orbiting a binary star system.
While Jaffa can be found all over the galaxy in the service of many Goa'uld, their line began on Chulak after being separated from Earth.
At the beginning of Stargate SG-1, the Goa'uld Apophis is charged with maintaining order on Chulak, however, an agreement between the System Lords prevents any Goa'uld from laying individual claim to the planet.

In Stargate SG-1, Anubis has created the perfect soldier, one who is faithful, has a one-track mind and shows no mercy.
With the aid of the Ancient's Telchak Device, the 'Super Jaffa, aka The Kull Warrior', portrayed by DAN PAYNE, was created in a laboratory with a humanoid form that has been implanted with a brainwashed Goa'uld symbiote.
Dan's participation in the 'Stargate Autographs' project is prompted by his desire to support charities that help special needs children become involved in sports activities.

Teal'c requests that Rak'nor (a Jaffa rebel whom SG-1 first encountered in "The Serpent's Venom" and most recently in "Allegiance") be brought to Stargate Command.
Because Jaffa unwilling to serve the Goa'uld are brought to Erebus to be worked to death, it was a logical place for Bra'tac and Rya'c to find recruits.

Example a battlefield of Jaffa with armour as if it were in the series would be cool, but it wouldn't be stargate like if the Jaffa were as in your concept art.

Similar to humans in overall appearance, Jaffas have an "X" shaped incision or marsupial pouch in the abdomen.
When a Jaffa reaches approximately eight years of age, a Goa'uld larva, the infant form of a parasitic being, is placed in the Jaffa pouch in order to mature.
There is a strong symbiotic relationship between them as the Jaffa is guaranteed powerful healing abilities and immunity to myriad diseases including all viral or bacterial infections for as long as he carries the symbiote.

The Stargate teams encounter countless alien races and the creativity behind the alien cultures and technology is amazing.
Despite the fact that there are a lot of complicated details to Stargate, the show is filled with adventure, suspense, humor and drama as the teams travel the worlds in search of new technologies to advance the human race and defend the earth.
I think the underlying message of the Stargate show is to be open-minded to the paranormal, tolerant of cultural and religious differences and not all problems need to be solved by war.
