	Jagodina - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Jagodina (Serbian Cyrillic: Јагодина) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 43.98° North, 21.26° East, 136 km south of Belgrade, on the banks of the river Belica.
		It is the administrative center of the Pomoravlje District of Serbia.
		Jagodina's mayor is Dragan Markovic 'Palma', who was earlier associated with Arkan's Party of Serbian Unity.

		Jagodina, August 11 (Beta) - The president of the Unified Albanian Democratic Party (PBDSH) Zequirja Fazliu warned that the future Albanian national assembly would, in the event of the Belgrade authorities ignoring its demands, make every effort to peacefully annex the south of Serbia to Kosovo.
		Zequirja said for the Jagodina TV station Palma Plus that the announced assembly of ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia would have for its goal to solve the vital problems in the Presevo- Bujanovac-Medvedja area.
		The Albanian assembly, as the president of the PBDSH explained, will be made up of the political representatives of ethnic Albanians in southern Serbia.

		BELGRADE, June 12, 2001 - Milan Pantic, Jagodina correspondent of Vecernje Novosti was murdered on Monday at around 7:30 am at the entrance to his block of flats in Jagodina.
		Pantic was buried Tuesday in the Jagodina Cemetery in a service attended by Federal information minister Slobodan Orlic, Radio B92's correspondent reported.
		Serbian journalists will continue the fight for the truth, as Pantic was when he was killed for writing articles about the crimes committed in the district along the Morava River, Vecernje novosti director and editor-in-chief Manojlo Vukotic said.
