Cosworth is definitely a force to be reckon with in Formula 1 but Ford is just there for the ride trying to milk Cosworth...Ford doesn't have my respect...the engines are Cosworth engineered and developed, not Ford.
Jordan are using a development spec of the cosworth engine used in suzuka qualifying, jaguar are using the new design this year and next year both will be using the same engine or something like that.
Cosworth always produce good engines they are the most successful engine manufacturer in F1, and were regarded as having the third best engine last year after BMW and Ferrari.

Jaguar and you and I could not agree more, that's why the X-type is one of the most expensive projects that Jaguar has ever undertaken.
Jaguar targetted the market in which cars like the 3 competes in, however, they built a Jaguar with the X-type, not any other kind of car.
The Jaguar block is highly ribbed and re-enforced, and in Jaguar form, is not the same block used in the Duratech engine.

Jaguar team boss Tony Purnell insists this week is crucial to the fate of the team with an outcome of talks with interested parties likely to reach a culmination one way or the other.

Here they have Cosworth, one of the most revered name in Ford racing history, dating back to the days of the rear engine Lotus Ford Indy cars, and Ford turns to Yamaha for a DOHC V8 design.
Cosworth Racing retained the right to use the COSWORTH name and logo and will still keep that when Ford sells us.
