Ratlam SP Varun Kapoor received information that three persons who were staying at the Ratlam rest house room No 21, were from Jalaun district and were involved in the murder of Imam Fahim.
THE RATLAM police have arrested three persons allegedly involved in the murder of Imam Fahim Ghauri outside the Jama Masjid at Orai in UP’s Jalaun district on October 29.
The Jalaun police have been informed about the arrests and a team will shortly be reaching Ratlam to formally arrest them.

Infuriated over an earlier incident, a 4000 strong mob led by Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders and MLAs torched the police station, part of the district Tehsil, officials residence of the tehsildar situated on the premises, a roadways bus and a fire-tender, and held to ransom virtually the entire district.
Deputy inspector General of Jhansi range and SSP Jalaun were also attacked and assaulted while they were rushing to control the mob.
The situation was tense as top officials including ADG Law and Order Bua Singh, who was at Etawah earlier in the day, was camping at Jalaun.

 Situation under control in Jalaun - Deccan Herald
A deceptive calm prevailed in Uttar Pradesh’s Jalaun district on Monday where three ruling Samajwadi Party leaders were killed and several others injured in a police firing on Sunday.
Reports from Jalaun said the situation was peaceful on Monday even as several organisations called for a bundh to protest against the police “high-handedness”.
On Sunday Konch police station officer D D S Rathore alongwith his son and a few constables had allegedly opened fire on the SP leaders when they were leading a crowd to protest against the detention of some businessmen.

Three persons accused in the recent murder of Imam Faheem Gauri, at Orai township in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district, were arrested early today at a local resthouse along the Jaora road.
The SP (Jalaun) has been alerted,'' the officer added.
Gauri's murder was a result of a dispute between Sunnis and members of the Deobandi community.

In an apparent fallout of a love affair, three people, including a girl, were burnt alive last night at a village in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
The dead were Meenu, Rakesh Kumar Vishwakarma and Dharam Singh Karera, the Jalaun police told PTI.
According to preliminary investigations, the love affair, involving members of different castes, appears to have led to the incident.
