		Formed to be a driving force for the advancement of Linux use in Jamaica, the user group is an information base for Linux catering to both seasoned computer users and "newbies" alike.
		The group has at its backbone a group of technically inclined individuals who cater to the spectrum of experience levels ranging from Linux geeks and enthusiasts to those who have never seen the Linux Operating System (OS).
		The group consists of students and professionals in the fields of education, communication and computing all of whom are committed to seeing Linux becoming a mainstream OS nationwide.
