IMG Review: James Bond 007: NightFire
We all have our favourite Bond actors, of course, and many people consider the present incumbent, Pierce Brosnan, to be among the best, but the tone changes markedly with each new Bond actor, and indeed, to a lesser extent, with each new film in the series.
The game opens with MGM's roaring lion and proceeds to display a Bond-ish introduction, complete with girl dancing with gun and horrible music, so that all seems in keeping with the film series.
That isn't supposed to be an exhaustive recipe for DIY Bond film-makers, but it's the sort of thing that I'd hope to see in a typical Bond film, and therefore I'd also hope to find similar things in a Bond game.

After suring along the net fanfilms.com was found (yes part of our design is based on theirs, sorry...), however, it only dealt with Star Wars; and that's hardly James Bond.

 Die Another Day (2002)
While a swordfight sequence between Bond and Graves provided a rare film highlight, and certainly ranks as one of the film series' more memorable sequences, much of the rest of the production was silly, with the story set at a break-neck pace to 'hide' the absurdities.
Creating new, exciting adventures for 007 after 20 feature films in forty years is a difficult task at best, particularly as public tastes change, and the character of James Bond has to maintain at least a degree of the 'persona' created by Ian Fleming.
Although DIE ANOTHER DAY would become Pierce Brosnan's highest-grossing Bond, to date, the film, despite heavily promoting Halle Berry's presence, failed to crack the 'Top Ten' box office attractions in the U.S., and disappointed many fans, worldwide.

He is known best for portraying two fictional British action heroes, Simon Templar in the television series The Saint, from 1962 to 1969, and as Sean Connery's successor as James Bond in the phenomenally successful film series from 1973 to 1985.
In the early 1960s, Roger Moore was one of the actors first considered for the James Bond role, but his television commitments—The Saint and The Persuaders—prevented him from assuming the role until 1971, when he was signed to play James Bond, secret agent 007, in: Live and Let Die (1973).
