 Apple Trees
I have an old James Grieve apple tree which is over 25 years oldand bears fruit very sparsly, The apples when formed have many small scabs in the skin and start to fall off before they have reached maturity.
I had a professional come in and "top" the tree, then I sprayed with "Eco Oil" availavle from Gardens Alive which is a catalog company with only organic products.
I still get a little of the scab, but I now get really nice big, juicy apples and I can live with the scab knowing that the fruit is pesticide-free.
