Alice Munro (born Alice Ann Laidlaw on July 10, 1931) is a Canadian short story writer, widely considered one of the greatest short story writers in modern literature.
Alice Munro was born in the small rural town of Wingham, Ontario to a farming family.
She and James Munro were divorced in 1972 when she returned to Ontario to become Writer-in-Residence at the University of Western Ontario.

Munro appeals his conviction arguing that the government presented insufficient evidence to convict him of either crime and that using a device of interstate commerce, i.e., a computer, to attempt to persuade a minor to engage in sexual acts is not a crime of violence.
Munro's statements and questions regarding virginity, sexual experiences, and his desire to perform oral sex on Chantelle are evidence of Munro's knowing attempt to persuade a minor to have sex with him.

There are a couple of likely candidates as a number of Donald Munros were born in Dornoch at this time.
I think this is the most likely candidate since Donald Munro and Margaret Calder'ss first child was called Robert assuming they adopted the usual Scottish practice of naming their first son after the paternal grandfather.
Their grandchildren, Peter Sutherland and Margaret Bain, were described as living at the residence of James Gunn and Robertina on the 1881 census.

Since James Munro was one of the Best writer's of this genre from this era it would be a shame for his works to slip into obscurity.
