James Rajotte (born August 19, 1970 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian politician.
Rajotte is currently a member of the Conservative Party of Canada in the Canadian House of Commons, he represented the riding of Edmonton Southwest from 2000 to 2004.
Rajotte is a former executive assistant and researcher.

Rajotte, the member of Parliament for Edmonton Southwest, said incidents like that reinforce the public's perception that politicians are corrupt.
Rajotte also accused the Chretien government of having similar draft guidelines in its possession for more than a year, and that those guidelines should have been made public.

Hey if the CPC can forgive Vic Toews for election FRAUD or James Rajotte’s assault or Rahim JAffer lying about a radio interview then the Liberals can forgive an adulterous affair that was 27 years ago.
Rajotte but the difference between all three of the cases you mention is that these men were elected by their constituents not appointed to a position of power by the Prime Minister.
As long as they meet the requirements to stand for elected office their past is a question that the voters of their respective constituencies to deal with.
