Reyne’s hits, such as “Reckless” and “The Boys Light Up” to name just a couple, are instantly recognisable.
Reyne’s voice is purposefully deep and grungy, yet maintains a warm, positive feel too it, without venturing far into darkness; after all, this is about bugs.
Then there’s acoustic-ballad "Hangman’s Wages", which is pure Reyne vocalisation at its finest, solid hard rocker "Hurray and Hallelujah", and the swift beat, spiralling bleeps and beeps, and frantic nervous energy of "Mellow" to finish off with a bang.
