Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 - CR Winners - James Rice
James Rice says he has always had a passion for things of an entrepreneurial nature, evidenced by the fact that at 26 he had already owned and run two successful businesses.
Still in his twenties, James had a vision to do something special in property development so he set up a model of promoting and selling off-the-plan homes via a sophisticated display centre showing architecturally drawn visuals of the finished product.
James’ property development model was also cleverly conceived, in that it transferred much of the financial risk away from James himself, and to the investors and the builders instead.
