Rumbaugh was selected for the award based upon his contributions to Pennsylvania’s building industry, including his leadership in the PBA, involvement in his local and national chapters and his participation in community affairs.
Rumbaugh was presented the award by Roger Zimmer, president of the PBA, during the PBA's annual meeting at Sheraton Station Square, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Rumbaugh is a member of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh where he has served in many capacities including president of the association.
